What size is A0 in millimetres?
+
A0 is 841 × 1189mm. It is the largest standard drawing sheet in the ISO A-series and the most common size for architectural and civil drawings submitted to Dubai authorities. We print A0 on bond, tracing, and polyester film from our HP PageWide plotters in JLT.
Do you print DWG files directly?
+
Yes. We accept native AutoCAD DWG and DXF files and plot them directly from our workstations. For guaranteed scale accuracy, we recommend exporting to a print-ready PDF from AutoCAD with the scale set explicitly - but if you send a DWG, we'll confirm the plot settings with you before printing.
What media should I use for submission drawings?
+
This depends on the authority. Bond paper is standard for most internal and working sets. Polyester film is required for permanent record drawings and some Trakhees submissions. If you're unsure, tell us the submission authority and we'll advise on the correct media.
Can you print a full set of construction drawings same day?
+
Yes - for sets submitted before 2pm. The volume and size of the set affects the turnaround, so for large packages, WhatsApp us with the drawing schedule in advance and we'll confirm the timeline before you commit.
Do you deliver CAD drawing prints to site?
+
Yes. We deliver completed drawing sets to site offices, project hoardings, and submission counters across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah. Delivery is available same day for JLT-area addresses on orders confirmed before noon.
What is the difference between bond paper and polyester film for drawings?
+
Bond paper is the standard working medium - cost-effective, accurate, and appropriate for most site and review sets. Polyester film is dimensionally stable, tear-resistant, and archive-grade. It is required for record drawings and some authority submissions because it does not degrade over time the way paper does.
